Hello everyone, we're here with an unfortunate update about our previously announced January 12th, 2022 SF Sketchfest live podcast. As explained in the attached audio, our live podcast, along with the rest of San Francisco Sketchfest, has been postponed for this year out of concerns about the rising number of Omicron cases.
Here's their official announcement: "Due to the rising number of Omicron cases, we’re sorry to announce the postponement of the 2022 SF Sketchfest. Bringing people together to laugh and celebrate comedy is what SF Sketchfest does best. Until it is safe to do so, the festival will hit pause on the events planned for January 2022."
It's very unfortunate and we apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment for all of you who were looking forward to this show. We still hope to return to doing live shows in 2022 and will keep you all informed about any plans we may have.
As we cover perhaps Lisa's most celebrated episode, we're joined by the great author/host of the Arden podcast, Emily VanDerWerff! The Simpsons get a new substitute teacher voiced by a pseudonymous Dustin Hoffman, and it exposes the deep pains in Lisa's relationship with Homer. All that plus Bart demands more asbestos in school in this very heartfelt classic episode of TV!
